Ex-Secretary of State Lawrence Eagleburger dies (Tampa Tribune)

WASHINGTON — The only career foreign service officer to rise to the
position of secretary of state, Lawrence Eagleburger was a straightforward
diplomat whose exuberant style masked a hard-driving commitment to solving
