Mark Fuhrman goes in depth on man famous cases in?The Murder Business: How the Media Turns Crime Into Entertainment and Subverts Justice. He begins each case with a description that sums up the whole case according to what information was released to the public. He intertwines the media?s involvement in each case. Fuhran often places the blame on media for cases that remain unsolved or end with undesired outcomes. For many, OJ Simpson is one of those cases. He also discusses the different elements within each case that changed the outcome. He blames much of the media?s attention on the ?attractive female? or racial bias that allows viewers to form sometimes inaccurate assumptions.?Fuhrman?s detective approach is what captivated my interest for the whole book. Most of the cases I?d heard of but not in the way he discussed them. Great informative read.
