CARSON, Calif. (AP) - Robbie Keane scored early in the first half, Christian Wilhelmsson added another goal early in the second half, and the Los Angeles Galaxy posted its fourth consecutive shutout in a 2-0 victory Friday night over Colorado.

Keane scored on a Landon Donovan pass in the 15th minute and Wilhelmsson, a member of the Swedish national team making his MLS debut, tallied from a long pass from Marcelo Sarvas in the 58th minute as the Galaxy (14-11-4), missing David Beckham because of a sprained ankle, climbed into third place in the Western Conference.

Sarvas slid to block Conor Casey's shot on an open net in the 79th minute as the Galaxy extended their shutout streak to 363 minutes, all competitions. They have shut out their past three MLS opponents.

The Rapids (9-18-2) are seventh in the nine-team West, one point ahead of Chivas USA and two in front of Portland.

SPORTING KANSAS CITY 1, DYNAMO 1

KANSAS CITY, Kan. (AP) - C.J. Sapong scored in the third minute of second-half stoppage time, salvaging a draw for Sporting Kansas City against Houston.

Sporting (15-7-6) extended its unbeaten streak to six games, while Houston (12-7-10) has just one win in its past six matches.

The Dynamo went up 1-0 when Brad Davis scored in the 58th minute on an assist from Boniek Garcia, and appeared headed for the win until Sapong headed home Graham Zusi's cross. It was the 13th assist of the season for Zusi, tying him for the league lead with Seattle's Mauro Rosales.

Sapong scored on his career-high ninth shot of the night. Two of his attempts were saved by Houston's Tally Hall in a scoreless first half, but Sapong's goal denied Hall what would have been his MLS-best 12th shutout.
